Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is an account of my life from July 2007 to June 2009, during which time I lived with bowel cancer, pneumonia, and lung cancer. This resulted in surgery to remove most of my left lung, six months' chemotherapy, a major stoma reversal operation and eight stricture dilatation operations with radiography. Whatever else it is though, this is decidedly not a book about illness. Rather, it is a celebration of living: an honest and, above all, positive record of life lived to the full, despite setbacks.
