The network was founded by Artherrine Grimes Hoskins when she invited women to gather for prayer in 1987. Since 1990, men, women, children, teenagers, and young adults join together in assemblies and on the telephone to pray with this ministry. Artherrine now oversees fifteen prayer lines that facilitate individuals, families, and groups/churches from around the world to join in agreement for specific prayers. Compiled by Mrs. Hoskins, the book contains over thirty prayers written by individuals who are currently active in the network and have a heart to pray. The prayer line attendees use this Prayer Guide as the foundation to petition God as there is power in agreement.
