The electric and magnetic multipole matrix elements, and the corresponding transition strengths, are calculated. The angular corrections to the Weisskopf estimates determined in this way are found to be considerable in the case of magnetic type radiations and have the effect of lowering the experimental transition probabilities well below the theoretical ones." --
