Inaddition, the author also provides an overview of the technicaltheories that underpin cellular radio systems – basic radiotheory and a simple explanation of the mathematical concepts thatunderlie measurements scales such as dB and dBm. The main part ofthe book, however, focuses on radio surveys, the various types ofsurvey, the techniques employed for each survey and theconsiderations and potential problems that can be encountered whensurveying different types of network. The final section deals withprocessing and interpreting the results of radio surveys andexamines the information that can be gained from them.
