Previous_work showed that there are grain boundary "habits" such as 101 ̄1, 101 ̄3, and 101 ̄5 for hydride precipitation in Zircaloy-2. By taking into account the stereographic configuration of these habits, the fn-values of various specimens have been evaluated. Comparison between fn-values obtained metallographically and by the present method gives excellent agreement.
