The basic tenets of English usage are the same, of course, but audiences are different, & terminology is specialized. It clarifies & simplifies matters for the writer by removing the most common obstacles to readability in AF writing: overuse of capitalization, of acronyms & other forms of abbrev., & of passive voice.
