Book excerpt: Imaginings is a book I have had the utmost pleasure in writing and producing. Imaginings covers a variety of topics of all types for all types of people to enjoy and study (if you wish). The various topics that are discussed were actually created as coping mechanisms for me, personally as the writer, to get through my own struggles by understanding the perspectives of other people. That’s what Imaginings is—it’s based on other people’s perspectives. I believe we can all have our favourites; though I have no connection to the book in its entirety, I can emotionally connect and relate to many poems. Other people will as well, just with their own unique poem and taste. I have always had the idea (and this is where I got the name from) that Imaginings would surround people with different feelings, images, and ideas that only they can feel. That’s what I want, and that’s what Imaginings are. From the bottom of my heart, dear reader, I hope you find your special poem/s, and I would love for you to express your ideas. This is a message from me, Cameron. I hope you enjoy!
