His "Record of Work" enabled creating this chronological photographic exhibit of over 50 selected surviving artworks as a tribute to his memory and achievements. The collection includes styles of Realism, Impressionism and Cubism. You will see in detail his best-known images capturing the life of African Americans following emancipation. Scattered throughout this compilation are his portraits and landscapes. He particularly enjoyed painting landscapes near Warrenton Virginia.
