Book excerpt: The paper is devoted to analysis of the features and tools of internet-media planning. We revealed the following advantages of Internet advertising: low price of advertising, a large selection of target groups, the wide coverage of target audience. Another important advantage of advertising on the Internet is the ability to target the target group in detail for a wide variety of meters. In this regard, the increasing number of firms seek not only to place information about themselves in the Internet space, but also to do it competently. We reviewed the main media planning tools on the Internet and described companies with experience in planning Internet advertising. We made the conclusion that the process of media planning is the traditional means of transmitting information to advertisers, but media planning on the Internet has its own characteristics, technologies and principles.
