Book excerpt: The Camberwell Assessment of Need for adults with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (CANDID) is a widely used tool for the assessment of health and social needs of people with intellectual disabilities and mental health problems. Two versions of the CANDID are available: CANDID-S (short version) and CANDID-R (research version).
