When Emma sees that none of this helps, she tries unsuccessfully to scold the cancer. As a last resort to help Grandma, Emma tries to reconcile with cancer and be nice to "him." When the cancer does not go away, Emma has to realize that it is time to say goodbye to her beloved Grandma. Together Emma and her grandmother remember all the wonderful days they spent together.
