He married Mary and they had four children, William, Jane, John and Amey. Richard Reynolds was born in about 1672. He married Mary Capers, daughter of Richard Capers and Mary Barnet. They had eleven children. Their son, William (ca. 1720-ca. 1788), married Jane Reynolds, daughter of Benjamin and Mary, 11 August 1748. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Texas.
