Some of the buildings have been designed with identical measurements so that even parts of them can be mixed and matched for more variety. All buildings can stand alone or be put up as part of the castle complex. The templates were hand-drawn with a quill and ink from a bottle in a process taking several weeks, which gives them a unique quaint and personal touch which cannot be achieved with computer-assisted design. The buildings are in black-and-white and can be coloured in according to individual preferences.
