Having spent over a quarter of a century as a Lecturer in the Prehistory of South and Southeast Asia at the Institute of Archaeology, University of London he has also played a pivotal role in the teaching and dissemination of knowledge on the region. Since retiring as Emeritus Reader in 1996, Ian Glover has continued to actively research and publish on a wide variety of topics on Southeast Asian Archaeology.
