All the stories have a connection with Dehradun or a character from Garhwal–Kumaon or they start or finish in Uttarakhand. A few are translations of the author's Hindi audio stories already on the YouTube channels #StoryJam and #KuchhKisseKuchhKahaniyan. Written in simple English, they can be read by any English speaker without consulting a dictionary. Some stories have a few Sanskrit and Hindi words and phrases (with side-by-side English translations and a glossary at the end), adding to their linguistic richness.
