The map is a contoured representation of one degree x one degree mean anomaly values. Some one degree x one degree values are computed by conventional or statistical means directly from observed gravity data held at DMAAC in the DOD Gravity Library. The majority of the one degree x one degree values are predicted by geophysical-gravity correlation methods. The anomaly pattern shown on the map is discussed and evaluated with respect to regional and local tectonic and geologic patterns. The entire Bouguer anomaly map is computer generated and drawn by an electronic plotting device. (Author).
