He has been teaching it since 1989 and runs a busy practice in Galway, Ireland. He is the director of the internationally recognised Alexander Teacher Training College and was the co-founder and past president of the Irish Society of Alexander Technique Teachers (ISSAT). He travels extensively, giving talks and presenting courses on the technique throughout Europe and the USA, and over the last 20 years has been a pioneer in helping to make the technique accessible to many thousands of people. He is the author of four previous books on the Alexander Technique
