Book excerpt: Ancestors and descendants of Henry Schieber (ca. 1777-1853) and his wife Marie Catherine Holtzener (ca. 1781-1842), who were married 1804 in Hesperange, Luxembourg. They had six children: 1. Anna Maria (b. 1806); 2. Nicolaus (1807-1883), born in Sandweiler, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and came to America in 1856. He was married to Anna Emmeringer (1807-1880) in 1835. She was born in Munsback, Luxembourg and immigrated to America in 1855 with her children. Family settled in Iowa. 3. Catherine (1809-1884); 4. Margarita (b. 1812); 5. Michael (1818-1893), who married Marguerite Molitor; and 6. Maria (1820-1828). Descendants live in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and elsewhere.
